This photograph of Ani Kuka is from one of the mini biographies in the booklet. The sisters Ani Te Maki Kuka i.e. Annie or Ani Johnson (1840-1942) and Mere Johnson. Ani married Te Kuka Te Mea and raised eight children while Mere Johnson married Rewi Murray. Photo taken c1930s or 1940s?
