There is a tennis court on the highest level, owned by Bartlett family in the 1930s, by R. Sandes of Tauranga Historical Society at the time of this photo, and later by Tony James, whose son whas killed at Barry Crump's camp. (He bulldozed the top of the pa away). Tilby farm left and centre, in centre of photo, stretching towards the harbour.
