Photography company: In 1939 Alf took over his father's photographic business and moved it from a studio upstairs to a space formerly a grocers shop. Closed during his army service in the Pacific Islands, 1941-1945. After the war he became a free lance photographer, setting up Renwood Studio, which he later sold to Adrian Orr, but retained the retail shop, which his son Graham took over, with the company formed in 1975.
