Mary Moreman  was born in 1831 in Mangotsfield the daughter of John Moreman and Betty Thompson .

Mary was baptised on the 3rd July 1831 at St James Church Mangotsfield

Father John is a coalminer  (most likely working in the Parkfield Coalmine .

In 1841 the family are living in Emmerson Green Mangotsfield,

Mary married George Jefferies on the20th October 1850 at St George's Bristol ,both signed with a X

 Mary,lived in Mangotsfield all her life ,  

In 1851 Mary ,George and family were now Living in Vinny Green Mangotsfield and in 1861 they are living in Emerson Green

Mary  died on 21st  September 1904 age 72 and is buried beside her Husband  George  in the St James Churchyard  Mangotsfield

Children of George and Mary are Mary Ann b 1851, Elizabeth b 1853 ,Esther b1855, Robert b1858, Hannah b 1860, Fred b 1863 , Walter b1864,Hester b1867,Ellen b 1869 and Betty b 1873
