Brief history
Rainster House opened its factory at 683 Cameron Road in 1946 with a staff of 30, to manufacture raincoats and other garments. It closed 21 July 1972.
In 2013 the site was occupied by the former Foodtown supermarket.
Former staff kept in touch long after the business closed.
