Mae (Mary Edith) Graham, 1909-2004 (wife of Joseph Minns Parker, 1908-1987) was ‘the daughter of a blacksmith who worked in Willow Street before moving on to be blacksmith at the Ōropi mill. Later the Grahams bought five acres at Brookfield and Mae attended Ōtūmoetai School’ (Bay of Plenty Times, n. d.)
