In 2007, Jinty Rorke (1942-2014), staff member of Tauranga District Libraries, was awarded the Queens Service Medal for services to heritage activities in the Bay of Plenty over the previous 30 years
All recipients receive a copy of this DVD with the second half containing video footage of their own investiture. The first part of the DVD outlines the history of the Awards system from its inception to today's revised New Zealand based awards. The second part of the DVD covers the award ceremony itself, which is presided over by the Governor General Anand Satyanand. This item focuses on the investiture of Jinty Rorke.
