DescriptionOne page of handwritten notes of a conversation with Clement W. Kimber of Bellevue, Tauranga, on 20 April 1990.

Topics include:

Jack metalled Cameron Road 1914-1920, Devonport Road and others. Describes transport of metal from Te Puke by rail, barge and horse and dray.
Mrs Kimber farmed on Mauao cows, sheep, cattle and dry stock, while living at Mount Maunganui.
Lived in Pilot House, then Hull Road, later Pāpāmoa.
Father, Jack Clement, ran a boarding house in 1912.
Sister was the first child born at Mount Maunganui in 1914.
Involved with boxing.
