Date1997-2006Reference NumberAV 21-002DescriptionA collaboration between Tauranga Library archivist Jinty Rorke (1942-2014), journalist and author Max Avery (Living History Productions), veteran Bay of Plenty Times journalist Glen Pettit and videographer Ross Brown, resulted in two collections of video interviews coming into the Tauranga City Libraries. This collection, created by then archivist Jinty Rorke, is of a selection of local personalities during the late 1990s and early 2000s. The interviews were videoed by journalist and author Max Avery (Living History Productions) and Ross Brown (Vision Media). They were stored as a mixture of Video 8, VHS, a cassette tape and DVDs. In 2021, funding became available to create digital surrogates and Living History Productions transferred co-copyright to Tauranga City Libraries. Videography by Ross Brown, when applicable, is licensed for Creative Commons Non-commercial use.
