Date1997-2006Reference NumberAV 22-003DescriptionA collaboration between Tauranga Library archivist Jinty Rorke, journalist and author Max Avery (Living History Productions), Glen Pettit and videographer Ross Brown, resulted in two collections of video interviews coming into the Tauranga City Libraries. This collection donated by Max Avery, is of a selection of local residents looking back on a 20th Century of change. They are interviews conducted by Max Avery and Glen Pettit, recorded between 1997 and 2006 and donated as a mixture of Video 8, VHS and DVDs. In 2021, funding became available to create digital surrogates and Living History Productions transferred co-copyright to Tauranga City Libraries. Videography by Ross Brown, when applicable, is licensed for Creative Commons Non-commercial use. A further two interviews could not be recovered from their DVD format. They were a second interview with Snow, and an interview with Squad Leader J.L. Munro.
