The account of Lieut. A.D. Blair including his and Sub Lieut. W.E. Sander's engagement with three German U-boats in September of 1916. Blair's great grandson shared the account in April of 2015 as part of the libraries Threads of Memories project.

Some corrections: The actions that earned A.D Blair the Order of Medjidie occurred shortly before the outbreak of the war between Italy and the Ottoman Empire. The term Barque and Brigantine get mixed up at one point.
