DateApril 2015DescriptionIn 2015 Tauranga author Susan Brocker came in to the Tauranga City Libraries to remember her grandfather Thomas Mc. Gee, as part of the Threads of Memory project. Filming: Bay of Plenty Polytechnic Students.

Thomas Mc. Gee was born on 8 December 1889 (reg. 1889/14196). His parents were Thomas and Catherine Mc. Gee (nee Mc. Bratney) who married in 1884 (reg. 1884/3402).

Thomas served with the Wellington Mounted Rifles (Service Number: 11/1184).

Thomas died on 6 March 1954 at the age of 64 (reg. 1954/29931).
