DateApril 2015DescriptionSupported by her father Ian Mc. Clain, Mount Primary student Miriama Sargison told us about her third great uncle Eric Tedway Sargison (1892-1918) who died on 13 September 1915 from wounds received in action at Gallipoli (Service Number: 11/820).

Eric was born in 1892 (reg. 1892/6730). His parents were George Metheringham and Agnes Annie Sargison (nee Peakman) who married in 1885 (reg. 1885/449). He was also known as 'Eric Tudway Sargison'.

Eric died of wounds received at Gallipoli on 13 September 1915 (reg. 1918/46799). He was aged 23.
