Nan Tiddy recalls several experiences throughout her teaching career. She worked on improving the staff room, dividing the kitchen from the lounge and redecorating it. She also took charge of the school's first aid, sports coaching, and choir activities, even starting a uniform for the choir. During her time in Britain on a Commonwealth Exchange, she managed a challenging class and eventually earned their affection. Nan also shares an anecdote about a misbehaving student who tried to hide a strap used for punishment. Overall, Nan fondly remembers her time as a teacher and the various challenges she faced.
